Awesomeness! I Loves of my life – Mac and the Espresso machine!

He’s functional and practical, always around to “hear” me out.

He reminds me of my past and awaits me to write the next chapter of my life.

Last week I’ve decided to move on and forsake this long term relationship,

Partly because I needed someone who can look after my needs

And other partly because I can try on new ideas with the new partnership.

So goodbye WordPress.

I’ll miss you and I’ll not shut you down,

Sometimes simple pleasures in life come in a cup of coffee. It’s amazing how a good cuppa makes a difference to the messed up morning or perks you up for the arduous 24 hours ahead.

A coffee fanatic introduced this small cafe haunt to me recently and we are now all raving about it. One word to describe the experience: Awesome. And I thought Grindlers was the best till I had this… oooohhhhh. The owner of this small place buys coffee beans from various parts of the world and roasts the coffee beans himself. We  toured the whole place, learnt a deal about coffee machines and coffee making and discussed at great length about what we could do. The barrister who entertained our questions was really helpful and said he could conduct a half day coffee making session for us Woah, 10 more brownie points!

And that was my flat white, made in the way that suits me and served in the right cup.

I wonder if you have ever been there? Walking aimlessly and wandering through the parched land, hoping to find some small stream. And it’s not just about searching for water to quench thirst per se, it is also about understanding why that stream even exist in the middle of a desert!

I think you might have been there.

There were times where circumstance ebbs away faith and creates doubt, and all you were doing was hanging on to that fine thread of hope called experience. You carry on with your little lives, doing seemingly christian activities, singing your praises and wondering half the time if He’s real and if all these mattered.

I reckon He knows me best.

The only reason why I still hang on is because experience has proved that He existed. And in my utter desperation that day, He responded. Although He left no explanations for this season of life I am currently prodding, it added on to the faith that was built on years of experiencing His guidance. Ravi Zacharias rightly pointed out that:

God’s answers to life’s questions of origin, meaning, morality, and destiny are not just proven by the process of abstract reasoning, but are also sustained by the rigors of experience. And in the reality of history, God has demonstrated empirically the living out of truth in the birth, life, death, and resurrection of his Son. In short, the intimations of truth come in multisensory fashion. The Guardian of Reason leads us to check the correspondence of his word with reality and to ascertain the coherence of the assertions. But our experience in life proves those truths in concrete reality. Our grand privilege is to know God, to bring our lives into conformity with truth, which leads us to that coherence within.
